Student work: GIMP animation – GIF

This time our assignment in Gimp was to create a short gif-animation. I used a painting of a city that I made this fall as a background, and a simple ballerina sketch as the moving object. I made the gif by creating 15 layers with just the ballerina on top of each other, where I moved her a bit to the right, and rotated her different ways in each layer. I also shrank her size a bit in each layer, because I wanted it to look like she was spinning, flying and disappearing further and further away from the viewer.
